Great chippy with friendly staff! I'm glad it's cash only because it makes it more of a treat having to go out for it... and also keeps the queue down. There is a cash point across the road at coop though so it's still convenient if you decide to go last minute.

Tried many fish bars however been using this one appropriately 20 yrs. All fish n chips high standard. The chips on NOT BITS or any bad ones. Tasty quality.. No where else compares. Staff friendly they try to please at any request nothing is a problem. Even when visiting seaside we wait to come here. We travel from RAUNDS to get our special treat. So worth the bother. Brother niece n sister use this fishbar too. You won't be disappointed and Mushy peas are OFF THIS PLANET 💖💖🤫

We've eaten fish and chips all over the country. If you are fed up of fish and chips that make you feel sick afterwards (sure sign that the fat used is old) then you need to try them from Ta bros. Good honest fish and chips. Never too greasy and the portions are enormous. For us the best fish and chips in the area.
